EXPERIENCE

NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, New York, NY

Senior Creative Director, brand Experience (January 2023 – Present)

• Lead a team of art directors, designers, illustrators, photographers and videographers in ideating and creating the stories, images and environments where NFL fans experience the brand

• Foster cross departmental collaboration with Marketing, Events, and International 

• Manage budgets of up to $3M and timelines, ensuring deadlines are met 

• Oversee collaboration with Nike in designing team uniforms

• Direct and present team branding projects to Executive Leadership Team and club owners

• Collaborated with a local Chicana/Native American artist in Phoenix to design Super Bowl theme art and largest legacy mural ever created by the NFL; this attracted engagement from multiple native tribes and highlighted the NFL’s support for the community

Senior Art Director (March 2018 – January 2023)

• Planned and directed complex and high-profile photo shoots with celebrities, athletes and dignitaries including President Obama at the White House, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Michael Strahan

• Envisioned and brought to life the creative look and feel for global live events including the Super Bowl and Pro Bowl with 100M+ viewers and spearheaded the creative development and deployment of promotional material, décor, and environmental design for the Super Bowl

• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams including designers, copywriters, agencies, vendors, and Executive Leadership Team

• Conceptualized and designed worldwide brand activations for the League’s top two growth areas: International and Youth

• Designed, sculpted, and oversaw production of Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award and Don Shula Coach of the Year Award

Art Director (January 2008 – March 2018)

• Built and pitched creative proposals that solved client objectives through visual storytelling

• Developed international marketing strategies to facilitate global expansion

• Accelerated brand awareness that resulted in NFL London Games expanding from one season game to four; tickets now sell out in less than 24 hours

• Established the marketing and décor elements for the NFL London Games

• Planned and produced experiential spaces such as Cirque du Soleil for the NFL Experience Times Square

• Implemented the Style Guide for the nationwide youth program, NFL PLAY60
